On Sunday, 6th November 2016 Mandy Risso successfully completed the New York Marathon in a time of 5 hours 43 minutes and 33 seconds to raise money for For-ethiopia and Parkinsons UK.

The New York City Marathon has grown from a Central Park race with 55 finishers to the world’s biggest and most popular marathon, with nearly 50,000 finishers in 2015. The course for the TCS New York City Marathon takes in all five of New York’s boroughs. It starts in Staten Island at the Western end of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and passes through Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx before finish in Manhattan’s iconic Central Park, outside the famous Tavern on the Green.
