Navigating 29 locks in one day!
On Saturday 13th September Ros will be travelling 237 feet vertically in her Cornish Crabber. If that sounds impossible, check out the Devizes Caen Hill Locks, a rather remarkable set of 29 locks over 2 miles completed in 1810.
If you are in the area why not pop along and give Ros a hand as it is hard work but a great day out and the weather looks fantastic! We will post updates throughout the day so check out her progress on the webpage and Twitter.
The Kennet and Avon canal links London and the Bristol Channel and brings Ros, Nancy and Demelza back to Bristol to over-winter before the final leg of their journey!
