Fingers crossed for the weather on May 6th 2013 as once again For-ethiopia will be attending the Redland May Fair. The poor weather conditions last year meant the event was cancelled as the ground was waterlogged but there can’t be any rain still left to come this year can there?!!
The Redland May Fair is an extremely popular, free, local event held on Redland Green, on the first May Bank Holiday each year. With a wide range of stalls, activities, displays and entertainment, it brings together thousands of Fair goers.
In previous years we have met some great people and made some fantastic contacts, such as the guys from Solarsense who subsequently went out to Ethiopia twice to install solar refrigerators in the health posts. Last year we were fortunate to still have Nigel and Jenny on board who installed refrigerators number 5, 6 and 7.
The fair is open from 1pm to 5pm on Monday. Come along and have a chat and enjoy all the fun of the fair!
Redland Green is situated off Redland Road, BS6 7EH.
