Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May 2015, 1-5pm

Join us at Redland Green for all the fun of the fair!

There is lots to see and enjoy at the May Fair, with children’s entertainment, swingboats, morris dancing, and music from groups and choirs, such as the ever-popular Ambling Band, the Redland Wind Band and Gasworks Singers. The Redland Green Community Chorus and Bristol Samba made their May Fair débuts in 2013.

Many local schools, societies and organisations have a presence at the fair, so there is an opportunity to meet up with old friends or make new ones. Plus you can explore the beautiful 18th century Redland Parish Church, which welcomes visitors throughout the afternoon.

On the For-ethiopia stall we will be selling everything from jewellry and Ethiopian scarves to Ethiopian coffee and roasting kits!

If you are interested in hearing about our work there will be Trustees on hand to chat and show you photographs of our projects and future plans.

This will be our fourth time at the Redland May Fair. Whilst the weather has been variable, they have always been great fun with our patron Professor Alice Roberts often attending and it is also the place where we were fortunate to meet up with the owners of Solarsense who have subsequently helped install solar refrigerators in health clinics in Ethiopia!

We hope to see you at Redland Green for a lovely bank holiday afternoon!
