No – we are not late – in Ethiopia people are celebrating today, 7th January.

Sailing into 2021

Here in the UK, we are on track for our 2021 projects, of which you will here more later, but today we have an offer from Ros Bennet, who sailed from St Just in Roseland all the way round the island that is the South of England 2015-2016 (along the South coast, up the Thames, along the Kennet and Avon Canal, down the Avon, down the Severn, along the North Somerset-Devon-Cornish coast, round Lands End and back to St Just).

She did this over 2 years and raised enough money to build a well for the villagers of Shuke. Ros has now published the account of her journey .

Did you forget anyone at Christmas? This is your chance to make it up – buy them a copy. Ros is offering all proceeds of the sale to For Ethiopia £10.00 + £3.50 p&p . If you would like a copy, please contact her directly – rosalindjbennet@gmail.com

We would like to wish you all a very Happy Ethiopian Christmas and better things for us all in 2021 – or 2014 in Ethiopia.
