Saturday 25th January 2014 is your chance to celebrate Ethiopian Christmas in Bristol with For-ethiopia!

We will be serving a full Ethiopian feast so whether you love Ethiopian food or have yet to try, get your tickets and come along and join in the fun…

Ethiopian Christmas Party

The evening will include a welcome drink of teg, Ethiopian food, entertainment from Hannah Berhanu and Jamie Thomas, an auction and traditional Ethiopian coffee!

Tickets cost £20 (£15 concessions and £6 for children) and can be obtained by calling 0117 9733812 or emailing event@for-ethiopia.com (Tickets can also be bought online at Skiddle but include a booking fee)

Ethiopian food can be very spicy but we will be offering a range of dishes from mild to medium hot with vegetarian options.

FYI: In Ethiopia Christmas is celebrated on January 7th and the date there will actually be 29 Tahsas 2006 based on the Ge’ez calendar. As this is so close to our new year we are actually celebrating a bit late to give everyone a chance to recover from their British Christmas and be ready for another chance to celebrate! More information about the calendar used in Ethiopia can be found at Wikipedia.
